Hello everyone! New kid on the block! My name is Alexander Wolffe and I will be helping out around here when needed. I have been a member on dA for the last seven years and I used to run my own group several years ago but had to close it down due to illness and not being able to care for it as it should have. So here I am now as an assistant for this group putting my rusty skills to work! ;P

I do not consider myself an artist. I am merely someone who loves the field and likes to dabble with all the mediums that it has to offer. I do know a little bit about photomanipulation for it's what I started doing when I first joined the site. I also have DAZ 3D and Poser 10 which I am just now learning, so if anyone out there would like to take in a newbie under their wings, I'm available to learn! Also, not knowing anything about sewing, I purchased a sewing machine at a yard sale for $20 this past weekend so I could teach myself how to make costumes for cosplay and personal wardrobe. And I am also teaching myself how to color digitally. Yes, I like staying busy doing different things, it's what keeps me sane! lol

Okay! Enough about me, let's get to the features you all have been waiting on! This week, I would like to present some of the images that I like. To show a small perspective of what catches my eyes. Hope you like them as well!

I am sure many of you have this artist on your watch, if not, do so! With the first piece, it was the very first gift I received from one of the members here on dA. Someone whom I am good friends with to this day. I had picked it out because of the wickedness in the characters eyes and the execution of the piece itself. It had me hypnotized from the moment I laid my eyes on it.

Prince of Persia Cosplay Art by Leon Chiro by LeonChiroCosplayArt

What does one say about an artist that can be like a chameleon and is able to pull off any look they put on? Not much, because they leave you speechless, especially if it's done by a man since most of the ones that can pull off a chameleon looks are women. Very few men are able to do what he does with his art form. The reason why I watch him and appreciate his works? Because he always leaves me inspired to create!

3. Hullabaloo2

Sunken Pirate Ship by Hullabaloo2

Hulla is one of the first people that I started to watch when I joined dA. He caught my attention with his playfulness and style of his works. From the innocent to the hilarious, his work will not disappoint!

Do you care so much about me? by LauraZel

"Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo" had me mesmerized the minute I saw the show! And was elated to have found an artwork that represented the anime series without flaws.

There you go folks, hope you enjoyed this weeks features. I realize it may not be what you are accustomed to on your features, but I thought that it would be a good idea as an introduction to who I am and some of the styles I like. Hope you all have an awesome week! If you have any questions for me, you are more than welcome to message me!
